LED light is everywhere – screens, overhead lighting, car headlights, stadium floodlights. And while LED lighting has transformed how we see the world, it comes at a cost. Every LED light source concentrates intensity at two specific wavelengths – 450 nm and 590 nm – that are disproportionately responsible for glare, eye strain and visual fatigue in daily life.
Until now, no clear ophthalmic lens had been designed to address this.
LED PRO from Younger Optics changes that. As the world’s first patented clear lens engineered specifically for LED light environments, LED PRO uses selective absorption dye technology to target these two disruptive peaks while allowing surrounding wavelengths to pass through largely intact.
The result is reduced glare, improved contrast sensitivity and natural colour perception, without sacrificing brightness or true colour. LED PRO also selectively absorbs potentially harmful blue light and blocks 100% of UV rays.
